Ultra-Wideband 90° Waveguide Twist for THz Applications

چکیده

We report on the design, fabrication, and characterization of a novel 90° waveguide step twist with 56% fractional bandwidth. The proposed provides field rotation in frequency range 210–375 GHz. experimental results are good agreement electromagnetic simulations showing an insertion loss below 0.3 dB return better than 20 over most band. ultra-wideband performance, tolerance to fabrication inaccuracies, compactness makes design attractive for various mm submillimeter applications. geometry is optimized simple through direct milling. Furthermore, remains highly compact since both steps fabricated single washer.
